Wintec Anatomic Girth
The Wintec Anatomic Girth is designed to improve your horse's comfort and performance. Research has shown that concentrated pressure on a horse's sternum is not only uncomfortable but impedes their performance.
The CAIR Cushion System uses air technology and presents the first true solution for dispersing pressure evenly over a greater area. The fluid cushioning of air results in unprecedented comfort and improved performance for your horse.
This girth is designed to improve your horse's comfort and performance by:
- Evenly distributing pressure
- Dispersing pressure over a larger surface area
- Fluidly working with your horse's muscles
- Providing symmetrical give for your horse's expanding chest
- Being anatomically shaped for improved freedom of movement
Featuring a central CAIR Cushion, elasticity, anatomic shaping, durable performance materials, stainless steel roller buckles and a stainless steel D-ring.
Fitting note: the arrows on the girth should point toward your horse's head, as indicated by the letters NS (near side, left) and OS (off side, right).
Do I need a long or a short girth?
Short girths are designed for saddles with long girth points, such as the Wintec Dressage, Stock or Endurance range. If your saddle has short girth points, such as a Jump or most All Purpose saddles, the long girth will likely suit you better.
Goes well with
- Long version: Wintec Anatomic Girth (long)
- Also with CAIR: Wintec Miracle Girth (short)
Size guide
The chart shows the measurements of the Wintec Anatomic Girth.
- The girth you need depends on the girth points on your saddle. Saddles with short girth points take a long girth, and saddles with long girth points take a short girth.
- Length depends on your horse, so compare with a girth that already fits your horse well, or ask your saddle fitter.
Measurements are a guide only. They are rounded to the nearest 0.5 cm and then converted to inches, and the organic shape of saddlery means small differences between pieces are normal.
-
Why should I size up?
Because of the central CAIR Cushion, it is recommended that you go one to two sizes up from your measured length.Which way round does it go?
The arrows on the girth point towards your horse's head, marked NS for near side and OS for off side.Which saddles does it suit?
Saddles with long girth points, such as Wintec dressage, stock, endurance, WintecLite, WIDE and Kids saddles. For short girth points, choose the Wintec Anatomic Girth (long). -
It depends on the girth points on your saddle, not on your horse. Saddles with long girth points take a short girth. Our Dressage, Stock, Endurance, WintecLite, WIDE and Kids saddles have long girth points. Length still depends on your horse, so check with your saddle fitter or stockist before you choose.
